Mangaluru: On Saturday November 27, a man in Surathkal vandalised an ATM booth at Katla Road bend on MRPL Road here in the City outskirts.

The man destroyed the ATM machine as well as other things in the booth. A nearby CCTV camera captured the entire incident. The ATM’s glass wall was also shattered using a helmet.

According to reports, on September 9, the glass wall of the ATM had been shattered and the bank officials had filed a complaint in the nearby police station.

In September, the police officials brought in a mentally unstable man for questioning, and recent photographs recorded on CCTV tape suggest that the same man is responsible for the crime this time as well.

Satish, the building’s owner, has reported the incident to the police station, and bank officials are expected to make an official complaint on Monday November 29.
