Mangaluru: Air Pegasus will operate passenger flight services between Mangaluru and Bengaluru from August 21. It will operate the ATR Flight (70 PAX) six days a week except Tuesdays.
Flight No. OP 102 will leave Bengaluru at 10.40 a.m. to reach Mangaluru at 11.50 a.m. Flight No. OP 116 will leave Mangaluru at 12.15 p.m. to reach Bengaluru at 1.25 p.m., according to J.T. Radhakrishna, Director, Mangaluru International Airport.
Shyson Thomas, Managing Director, Air Pegasus, in a release on Thursday, said: “Flights to the port city will be vital considering the rise in industrial and food processing activity in that region.”
This will be the eighth daily flight between Mangaluru and Bengaluru, the director said. Jet Airways, Air India and SpiceJet are already operating flights between the two cities.
Air Pegasus is now operating flights to Bengaluru, Hubballi, Madurai, Kadapa and Thiruvananthapuram.
