Mangaluru: 15-year-old boy feared drowned in river at Bantwal

Mangaluru: A 15-year-old boy and a resident of Parlya-Madda of B.C Road, who went swimming in the Netravathi River on the evening of Friday November 11 is reportedly feared to be drowned.

The boy is identified as named Salman (15), the son of Junaid. The incident is reported from Brahmarakootlu near BC Road of Bantwal in the Dakshina Kannada District.

Salman and three of his friends had gone swimming in the river as it was a holiday for school and the boy drowned.

Bantwal Police visited the spot and is investigating further.
