Mangaluru: Dr. Amarashree Amarnath Shetty, who is contesting as a JD (S) candidate from Moodabidri constituency in the Assembly elections, has filed her nomination papers at the Moodabidri Taluk Office.
Along with her mother Jayashree Amarnath Shetty, senior party worker Hariprasad and other supporters garlanded the statue of Amarnath Shetty in front of Pancharatna hotels and took procession till taluk office.
Speaking to mediapersons after filing nomination Amarashree, said I have already been going door-to-door with a clear goal and a definite plan, listening to the grievances of the voters and connecting with the people. “I am contesting the elections with a view to bring about change. I am planning for the all-round development of the constituency. During campaign, I have been highlighting education, health, drinking water, employment, women’s empowerment, health, travel and many other issues.
