Mangaluru: A fire at Soorambail farm in Uppinangady gutted arecanuts, coconuts, and other items stored in a shed.
The incident was reported from a farm belonging to Soorambail Shantharam Bhat.
According to sources, 30 bags of arecanuts, 2,000 coconuts, and other materials were reportedly stored in the shed when the fire broke out. The shed was completely damaged in the incident. The loss is estimated to be around Rs. 6 lakh.
