Mangaluru: The banner extending Shrikrishna Janmashtami greetings which sparked a row by containing images of Nathuram Godse and V. D. Savarkar has been removed by civic authorities on Thursday August 18.
Police sources said that flex was installed by Hindu Mahasabha local leader Rajesh Pavitran. As complaint was registered against the same, Police Commissioner N. Shashi Kumar ordered the removal of flex.
