Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a biker coming from Thokottu towards Kuttaru lost control and rammed into a divider near Sri Rajarajeshwari Siddhivinayaka Temple in Kuttaru late on the night of Saturday January 7.
The injured has been identified as Bhushan Rai (20), a resident of Kerebailu, Chembugudde. His bike hit the divider while he was on his way to Kuttar on the bike, resulting in Bhushan being thrown onto the road.
He was lying on the road for some time with serious head injuries and was rushed to a hospital by a group of five occupants of an Alto car from Kerala who were on their way to Thokottu.
He was admitted to a private hospital in Deralakatte.
The front portion of the bike has been completely crushed. Mangaluru South Traffic Police has registered a case.
