Mangaluru: The Akhila Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha held a press conference here on Wednesday January 18 and said, “This is an eclipse of the BJP’s rule. The question is in which direction they are going to take the country. Despite knowing that reservation is detrimental to the development of the country, the lure of power is making them betray Hindutva by doing anti-religious acts, while the Congress is dividing the country on the basis of religion.

“These two parties instill hatred between the people on the issue of reservation. If this continues, it may lead to internal conflict among underprivileged youth. Is it justice to be deprived of opportunities only because of being a upper caste? Is there a provision in our original Constitution to continue reservation for 75 years, and to get reservation or more privileges on the basis of religion? Is it good to weaken the country to take advantage of power? The purpose of continuing reservation is that we are still not developed and educated, he added.

The request was made by the Akhila Bharata Hindu Mahasabha General Secretary Dharmendra, at a press conference, to reject these two major political parties which are deceiving people into thinking that our country is a developed and educated country and to accommodate newcomers.
