Mangaluru: A scuffle broke out between BJP and Congress workers at Moodushedde in the city after the polling was over, said Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar Jain.
The situation has been brought under control and additional security has been put in place. Prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been imposed in Kavoor police station limits, he added.
We will set up a check post at Moodushedde and conduct vehicle checking. Vehicles coming in and out were monitored. Three Congress workers were injured in the incident. Our police personnel were also injured,” he said.
