Mangaluru: Mangaluru North BJP on Saturday January 21 launched Vijay Sankalp Abhiyan at Kavoor Grounds.
Mangaluru North BJP President Tilak Raj Krishnapura delivered the inaugural address. “Through the Vijay Sankalp Abhiyan, the work of connecting 244 booths in Mangaluru North should be done to convey the achievements of the govyernment to the people. Workers should work hard for the party’s success by pasting pamphlets and stickers in every house and shop in the North. Everyone should work together for the success of this campaign, which will go on till January 29.”
Speaking on the occasion, Mangaluru North MLA Dr Y. Bharath Shetty said, “From today, Vijay Sankalp Abhiyan has been launched to take the achievements of the Central and State Governments to every household. On January 29, the Abhiyan will end by listening to Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme at every booth.”
“As elections approach, new specimen will come up. They were absent for four-and-a-half years and are now suddenly visible. We have two here. While one is addicted to putting up banners on Facebook and road, while the other is addicted to lying. Both of them are roaming around saying that if they get tickets, they will pay for the wedding and pay for the event. It would have helped us a little if those who call themselves great social workers had come at least during the Corona period,” he mocked.
“Similarly, such people appear on social media during elections. People should be watch them. We don’t need lies or promises to fight elections. The work done by the Central and State Governments is enough. The workers should get involved in this campaign to be held across the State and work for the betterment of the party.”
