Mangaluru: A bus hit a car after its brakes failed at Thokkottu junction here on Sunday August 28. However, a major catastrophe was averted due to the presence of mind of the bus driver.
All the passengers inside the bus have escaped unhurt. As luck would have it, the people in the car too were not hurt. While the bus was on the way to Mudipu from Mangaluru, the car was going from Ullal to Mudipu.
Jeppu Traffic Police has registered a case.
