Mangaluru: In a shameful incident, a KSRTC bus conductor trampled a passenger and pushed him onto the road at Eshwaramangala Town Junction in Puttur of the Dakshina Kannada District.
Sources said that the passenger was drunk and the video of the conductor assaulting him is going viral on social media.
KSRTC Divisional Controller Jayakar Shetty said that the conductors do not have the authority to enforce the law on a person travelling in the bus, no matter what the condition he is in. It was the fault of the conductor in the incident and hence he will be suspended immediately,” he said.
