Mangaluru: A 12-year-old boy was killed when a speeding bus hit two-wheeler riders near Lalbagh in the City on the morning of Monday October 17.
The private bus was plying between Mangaluru – Kinnigoli – Kateel collided head-on with two-wheeler riders while overtaking another bus. While the rider sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a hospital, a 12-year-old boy died on the spot.
As soon as the matter came to light, the Traffic Police reached the spot and carried out an operation to clear the body to smoothen the traffic.
A case has been registered at the Traffic Police Station.
