Mangaluru: A businessman from the City filed a police report alleging that a firm in Jaipur duped him of Rs. 5.73 lakh.
According to the businessman who deals in computers and laptop accessories, Manoj Chaurasia of Miracle Technologies in Vaishali, Jaipur did not complete the deal for supplying laptops.
Chaurasia provided two laptops in August, stated the complaint.
Suraksha Khandelwal, Chaurasia’s Assistant, then called the businessman about the availability of cheaper laptops. Rs. 5,73,750 lakh advance was paid to the company to complete an order for 15 HP laptops. However, the complaint also stated that Chaurasia did not provide any laptops.
The complainant also claimed that Manoj Chaurasia had been accused of cheating on several instances.
Further investigation is on.
