Mangaluru: With the aim of eliminating drugs from the city, CCB police have arrested a suspect involved in drug trafficking during a raid at a location in Kankanadi Pumpwell. The police obtained definite information about the accused selling weed openly to the public using a two-wheeler. As a result, the CCB took action and seized the illegal narcotics.
J. M. Mohammad Aziz was arrested in connection with the case. During the operation, Rs 1 lakh in cash and a two-wheeler were seized from him, along with other valuables. Aziz was previously involved in a drug peddling case at Konaje police station in 2022. The search operation was conducted with the participation of CCB Unit Police Inspector Shyam Sundar H M, PSIs Rajendra B, Sudeep M V, Sharanappa Bhandari, Narendra, and CCB staff.
