Mangaluru: The smell that is emanating from fire that broke out at the waste disposal plant in Pachanady has spread to the City on the night of Tuesday January 10.
Along with smell, the fog has engulfed various parts of the City that includes Kuntikana, Derebail, Konchady and KPT. Due to the smell and fog, the people were panicky for a while.
Fire Brigade officials said that during the night, the wind blows westwards and the wind speed is higher than usual. There is still smoke emerging at Pachanady and the operation to extinguish the same is on, they added
