Mangaluru: Coast to get heavy rains for next 2 days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rain for Bengaluru and 12 other districts of Karnataka for two days starting from Monday.

Mangaluru: Several districts of the State, including Bengaluru, are predicted to see moderate rainfall over the next two days owing to a drop in air pressure that emerged over the Bay of Bengal.

IMD has predicted heavy rains in the Coastal districts of Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, and Uttara Kannada are expected to see heavy rainfall, which has also issued a ‘Yellow Alert.’

Mysuru and Mandya experienced rainfall on Friday in some places. Rainy, cloudy, and windy conditions were observed at Mysuru.

Cloudy weather with light showers will last for two days in several districts. IMD stated that the temperatures are expected to drop lower.
