Mangaluru: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for the coastal districts on Saturday September after forecasting that Dakshina Kannada will see heavy rain for the next few days.
IMD has predicted that coastal districts will experience heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning on Saturday.
The rainfall distribution was scattered across the districts on Friday with Udupi receiving light to moderate rainfall. However, the weather in Dakshina Kannada District remained cloudy.
