Mangaluru: A compound wall is turning out to be dangerous for motorists and the concerned department needs to take note of it.
This dangerous spot is located at Aladangadi on the Guruvayanakere – Naravi – Karkala State Highway. Thousands of vehicles ply on this route throughout the day.
There is a turn near the Aladangadi Bridge and at the edge of this road bend, a man has occupied the road and built a fortified compound wall. Their work is turning out to be a nightmare for motorists.
Here the road is down from one side and the vehicles come fast and turn and move ahead. Vehicles coming from the opposite side will not be visible as the compound wall is on the other side. Thus, the chances of an accident are high. The road from Guruvayanakereto Shakthinagara is already widening and the drivers feel that if the road is widened, they will be able to drive easily.
In the coming days, Brahmakalashotsava of the nearby Sri Mahaganapathi Temple will be held here and thereby large number of vehicles and devotees will travel. Therefore, there is a need to unveil the premises immediately.
