Mangaluru: Mangaluru South constituency Congress candidate J.R. Lobo filed nomination papers on Thursday April 20.
After filing nominations he said that the people’s preference is in favour of the Congress this time.Surely congress will win in this constituency. He submitted his nomination papers to returning officer Kempegowda at the Mangaluru City Corporation office.
Prior to filing his nomination papers, he visited Mangaladevi temple, Kadri temple, Bikarnakatte Church, Bishop House , Venkataramana Temple at Ratha Street and Zeenat Baksh Jumma Masjid in the port and offered prayers. From there, he reached Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha temple and offered special prayers along with senior party leaders and workers.
