Mangaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Mithun Rai has demanded that the culprits be traced at the earliest and punished severely.
Speaking to mediapersons, he said that the Police should find the culprits at the earliest in connection with the murder of Praveen Nettaru in Sullia and ensure strict punishment. KPCC General Secretary Mithun Rai demanded that the State Government should provide maximum compensation to the families of Praveen, who died following an assault by fanatics likewise murdered Masood too.
He said, “The workers of any party should not fall prey to political hatred, and they should not listen to the politicians and not be allowed to create hatred in the society. Many youth have already fallen victim to communal hatred in the coastal areas and many MLAs and MPs elected due to this. Yet no one looks back at their family after winning the election. The youth should understand this and politicians should not fall to hate politics and work towards the society.”
