Mangaluru: It has been decided to allow Champa Shashti’s Edesnana Seva at Kukke Subrahmanya, which was restricted for the last two years in the wake of Covid – 19. The decision was taken at a preparatory meeting of Champa Shashti Jatra Mahotsava under the chairmanship of Minister S. Angara and it was decided to allow service following the directions of the Deputy Commissioner.
The decision was taken at a preparatory meeting of the Champa Shashti Jatra Mahotsava to be held from November 21 at Kukke Sri Subrahmanya. It was decided to allow service after mahapuja in the afternoon on Chauthi, Panchami and Shashti days following the directions of the Deputy Commissioner. It was suggested that street rollers should be allowed to perform street roll service from 5.00 pm to 6.00 am after the night Rathotsava on Laksha Deepotsava day.
