Mangaluru: In a meeting held under the chairmanship of the Mayor, Representative, Mangaluru South and Deputy Commissioner, Dakshina Kannada, recently, a decisions has been undertaken to ease out the traffic congestion in roads including Clock Tower to A. B. Shetty Circle, A. B. Shetty to Hamilton Circle, Hamilton Circle to Rao & Rao Circle and Rao & Rao Circle to Clock Tower.

As these roads connect the public to important government offices and also encompass Town Hall, Nehru Ground, Service Bus Stand and other places with commercial activity, smooth traffic is of the prime importance.

Therefore, it was deemed necessary to consider the above-mentioned routes as crossroads and have been developed as one-way routes.

This system has been in place for the past few months. Citizens are hereby requested to provide feedback on these routes to give an insight on the functioning of the road. Citizens can provide feedback on the Google forms posted on the social media handles of Mangaluru City Corporation and Mangaluru Smart City Limited including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. September 4, 2022will be the last date for all citizens to hand in feedback on the same, stated Mangaluru City Corporation Commissioner Akshy Sridhar.
