Mangaluru: On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, the Indian Government has organised ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ (National Flag in all houses) campaign.
Mangaluru City Corporation Commissioner Akshy Shridhar stated that the citizens of Mangaluru are hereby requested to hoist the National Flag in their houses and apartments from August 13 to August 15.
The release added that the flags can be bought from the following places at the cost of Rs. 22. Zonal Offices of the Corporation at Surathkal, Mallikatte and Central Offices and at all 10 Primary Centres at Surathkal, Kulai, Kuloor, Shaktinagara, Kadri, Padil, Yekkur, Jeppu, Bunder and Bengre. Additional information about the above mentioned matter can be availed from the Corporation’s Health Department.
