Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District BJP Vice-Pesident Harikrishna Bantwal has been re-appointed as Keonics President.
Two months ago, the appointment of Chairpersons of all Corporation Boards appointed during Former Chief Minister Yediyurappa’s tenure was withdrawn. At the same time, those who have completed 2 years in the Board of the Corporation have lost their positions but has been no appointment to the positions again.
Meanwhile, Harikrishna Bantwal has regained the post of keonics president due to his own efforts.
Harikrishna Bantwal said that he has received the order letter on Saturday October 5 and will take oath on Monday October 7.
“I have sent a proposal for the construction of an IT park in Mangaluru and it has already been approved by the State Government. I have a dream of constructing an IT park on 4 acres of land at Haripadavu in Mangaluru City. In addition, I want to get 13 acres of additional land to implement the IT park, for which I have again asked for the post of Keonics Chairman,” he said.
