Mangaluru: The Crime Branch Sub-Inspector of Bantwal City Police Station and his staff found an attempt to smuggle cattle at Poorlippady near Kalladka here on the morning of Saturday October 15 and arrested one person in this connection and rescued two cattle.
The arrested have been identified as Mohammed Ismail (47), a resident of Madaka in Goltamajalu Village.
Bantwal City Police Crime Branch SI Kalaimar and his staff, who were on the night patrol on Friday October 14 conducted the operation.
