Mangaluru: Kunitha Bhajanotsavam will be celebrated on the day of Lakshdeepotsava of the annual Champashashti Mahotsava of Lord Subrahmanya.
Temple’s Managing Committee Chairman Mohanram Sulli said that the Kunitha Bhajana will give a special touch to the festival and will be held on November 23.
Addressing a press conference here, he said that on the day of Lakshdeepotsavam, Kunitha Bhajane will be celebrated from 7.00 pm onwards from near Rajagopuram to Ratha Beedi, Adda Beedi from Kashikatte to Kumaradhara.
Around 1,000 troupes are expected to take part in the Bhajane celebrations and singer Jagadish Acharya Puttur will take part in the event. Students, villagers, devotees and organisations will participate, he said.
Apart from the public, devotees from across the State will be allowed to perform the seva and only a minimum of 10 people will be allowed in each group. Interested teams should register their names at the Temple office by November 20.
