Mangaluru: Leak in pipeline to disrupt water supply on July 17

Mangaluru: The Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) water supply plant’s Tumbe HLPS-1 18 MGD pumping unit’s main pipeline has been leaking at the Skanda Hotel close to the Kuloor Bridge and Supersteel near Kottarachowki. The MCC has decided to repair the pipeline on Saturday July 17.

According to an order issued by MCC Commissioner Akshy Sridhar, the water supply to Surathkal, Katipalla, Kuloor, Jalligudde, Kodikal, and portions of Kana, Baala, Kulai, Mukka, and Panambur will be interrupted starting at 6.00 am for a duration of 24 hours.

He asked citizens to cooperate with the City Corporation.
