Mangaluru: Modepu, posthumous exhibition of art on Nov 6

Mangaluru: Art Kanara Trust, the Mangaluru Chapter of INTACH, and the N. G. Pavanje Chair in Fine Arts of Mangalore University are jointly presenting ‘Modepu’, a book, posthumous exhibition and publication of artists. The art to be exhibited are by 34 famous artists of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu and Kasargod Districts on Kodialguthu Center for Art and Culture, Ballalbagh here on Sunday November 6 at 11.00 am.

Prof. P. S. Yadapadithaya, Vice Chancellor of Mangalore University, will inaugurate the exhibition and release the book

Dignitaries, S. Krishna Setty, Art Historian and Former Chairman of the Central Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi
U. George, Editor and Publisher, Mangalore Today, Sripathi Kalluraya, Coordinator, N. G. Pavanje Chair in Fine Arts
Ganesh Somayaji, Senior Artist, Mangaluru and Janardhan Havanje, Visual Artist and Author of ‘Modepu’ will be present.
