Mangaluru: We are witness to progressing construction of the National Highway NH – 75 between Mangaluru to Bengaluru and are hopeful of a good land transport system between the two cities. As the six lane road is in the progress, we are also witnessing that they have not taken a progressive alternative of creating a rider-friendly roads.
As we speak of the construction of the six-lane road between the cities of Mangaluru and Bengaluru we come across the damages on the present road which make travel dangerous on these roads. As we know, the Mangaluru region is experiencing the rain and now the roads are covered with slush with the riders of two-wheelers facing a major problem of vehicle accident on the Highways. As there is a progress in the construction of the road, a notable factor is also that there is no footpath besides the road which makes the pedestrians walk besides the road. However, when there is no rain the same road is covered with dust particles which makes the road polluted and unsafe for the health of the travellers.
Also, the residents besides the Highway of NH – 75 have witnessed some of the accidents which have been caused by the potholes on the road.
Everyone deserves to travel in a clean as well as well-maintained road and while constructing this sometimes knowingly or unknowingly the old road may have been damaged. But it is the responsibility of the one who took the responsibility of the construction of the road to provide a perfect alternative to the travellers and commuters.
