Mangaluru: In connection with the riots in KJ Halli and DJ Halli, Bengaluru, a resident of Bolanthoor under the jurisdiction of Vittal Police Station in Bantwala Taluk has been taken into custody and handed over to the Bengaluru Police for further questioning.
Mohammed Thafseer, son of Bolanthoor resident Mohammed Kutty, is the arrested accused.

Mohammad Thafseer, a resident of Bolanthoor of Bantwala Taluk, was arrested by the Bantwala, Vittal Police from his house at around 11.35 am Thursday on September 22 and brought to Bantwala. After that, he was handed over to the State police.
An investigation has been conducted on the basis that Muhammad Thafseer was also involved in this case.
He made the plan
KJ Halli’s house was raided on the allegation that he was in constant contact with the team that initially planned the DJ Halli case.
It is said that he had held the key responsibility of the PFI organization and was prominently identified in recent days in connection with the case. Currently he is running a business and is living in Bolanthoor.
According to the address given by the State police at 3 o’clock in the morning, a team of Bantwala and Vittal police mistakenly went to his uncle’s house in Amtur Village of Bantwala Taluk, mistaking it for his house. But after they came to know that he had given only the address of his uncle’s house, the raid was conducted at his place of stay.
The police have seized the accused’s mobile along with the necessary documents as well as his family members’ mobiles.
