Mangaluru: “I am satisfied that I have given top priority to development works in Mangaluru North Constituency and worked with emphasis on solving the problems of the common man,” said Mangaluru North MLA Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty.
Participating in a media interaction programme at Press Club in the City, he said that the development work is going on in full swing for the construction of blue flag beach in the Constituency.
In the first year of coming to power, there was a flood problem and the next two years there was a Covid crisis. Although the development could not be done for three years, the development work is going on continuously during the last one-and-a-half-year period. In Nair Kudru, the development work has been initiated with special care to give thrust to tourism, he noted.
The infrastructure is being developed to generate a revenue of Rs. 10 to 12 lakh per month from Panambur Beach tourism, which was earlier Rs. 10 lakh per annum, he said.
