Mangaluru: A Second Pre-University College student resorted to suicide by hanging herself at Baltila under Bantwal City Police Station Limits on Thursday March 9.
The deceased has been identified as Vaishnavi (17), daughter of teachers Chandrashekar and Sowmya, residents of Baltila. Vaishnavi was preparing for the examination at home as exam date was on Friday March 10.
So, when Soumya called her neighbours to enquire if her daughter was studying, the door of the house was locked. That is when the neighbours went home and found out that she had hanged herself.
