Mangaluru: In a horrific incident, a car hit a parked lorry in Padupanambur, killing two people on Wednesday February 1.
The deceased have been identified as Achal Singh (30) and Babulu (23) from Madhya Pradesh and Anish (42), from Kerala, has been injured.
According to sources, the lorry’s wheel punctured as it was going through the Padupanamburu route from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, to Kerala.
While the three lorry occupants descended to repair it, a car from the Udupi side suddenly came and hit them as they were trying to change a tyre.
As per the reports, the driver is still absconding.
