Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, two men drowned in a stream at Yenekalli near Subrahmanya on the night of Tuesday November 15.
The deceased have been identified as Dharmapala Paramale (46) and Belyappa Challangaru (49).
Dharmapala worked as a daily wage labourer at the Subrahmanya village waste disposal unit.
According to sources, the incident happened when they were trying to remove the pump foot valve in the stream.
The bodies were recovered from the water.
