Mangaluru: A case has been registered at the Ullala Police Station that a woman cheated 12 people by claiming that she would get them a job abroad.
A case has been registered against Leena Lobo who committed the fraud. Jitesh K D’Souza, Rixon Santanis, Edlin Clinton D’Souza, Glancilla Fernandez, Joseph D’Souza, Glanette Fernandez, Sachin P, Vinay Joy Alvares, Jeevan Clifford D’Souza, Nagendra Ganapathy, Avish D’Souza, and Joey Son Lewis were the people who were cheated.
From February 2nd to March 12th gradually she received a total amount of Rs. 2,82,000 through Google Pay and then cheated without giving employment.
Complainant was filed at Ullala Police Station after they asked for the money back but it was not returned.
