Manjeshwar MLA PB Abdul Razak no more

Manjeshwar: Sitting MLA PB Abdul Razak of the Indian Union Muslim League died on Saturday, October 20, at a hospital. He was 63.

He represented Manjeshwar in state assembly twice.

It is said that Razak was suffering from heart-related complication for some time now.

Starting off as an activist of the IUML in 1967, he was Charkala GP President before he represented Manjeshwar in the assembly for the first time in 2011. In 2016, he trounced BJP’s K Surendran by a meagre 89 votes.

He is survived by his wife, one son and three daughters.

The funeral will be held today at Alampady Jumma Masjid.
