Puttur: A man from Mangaluru who was looking for a girl with her photograph in hand, in Puttur area landed in jail, after locals grew suspicious of his intentions.
The incident took place on Saturday, December 19.
It is said that the man in question was married, but had developed friendship with a girl from Puttur over Facebook. The girl had revealed to him that she was an employee at RTO, Puttur.
Following this, the obsessed lover landed in RTO Puttur with a picture of the girl, asking each and every person present about her whereabouts.When he was told that the girl is not an employee of the RTO, he then went out on streets asking people about the girl.
The locals grew suspicious and informed the police about the same. The police took him to custody and then the man told the police about the love tale that had blossomed over FB.
