May 16 results to decide who can oppose niddodi power plant :J poojary

Mangalore: Already there is confusion regarding the implementation of Niddidi power plant. The May 16th election result will indicate who is the suitable person to stand for the people and oppose this project said congress loksabha candidate,  B Janardhana Poojary.

He was speaking to the reporters here at the District Congress office. The letter which CM Siddaramaiah had sent to the PM regarding approval of power plant has been criticised by many people. but we will stand for the people   In order to listen to the problems of people of niddodi, an effective person is needed to speak in the parliament.  It will be decided on may 16.

If the kasthuri rangan report becomes true then 1580 villages will suffer, he said.  “They have been protecting this forest for several years. It’s a project that will destroy the rich environment of the region., so the centre and state government must not implement this project.

In sullia, Congress leaders Vaheeda Ismail and Ismail have been attacked for no reason.so the culprits must be punished. Speaking about Modi he said, Modi is not qualified to become PM.His ideas are misleading the society,he said

DK Congress president Ibrahim Kodijal, Mangalore city corporation mayor Mahabala marla, Kallige Taranatha shetty, Ivan dsouza, Shashidhara hegde, Harikrishna bantwal were present at the Press Conference.
