Kinnigoli: On the occasion of the post Centenary Decennial celebration of the bank, Customer Meet of Mangalore Catholic Co-operative Bank Ltd, (MCC Bank Ltd) Kinnigoli Branch, was organized at Immaculate Conception Church hall on Sunday September 04 at 11.00 AM.
Chairman of the Bank, Anil Lobo, presided over the Customer Meet.
The meet was formally inaugurated by Rev. Fr Paustine L. Lobo, Parish Priest of Immaculate Conception Church, Kinnigoli, Mangaluru. Dhananjaya P Shettigar, owner of Chaithanya Medicals & Sagarika Arrangers, Sheikh Noorulla, Business entrepreneur, were guests of honour.
Rev. Fr Paustine L. Lobo, in his inaugural speech, congratulated and thanked the Chairman, management and staff of the bank for rendering and completing 110 years’ of selfless service to the society. He opined bank for customer and customer for bank, if this relationship is maintained by both customer as well as bank both will witness immense growth.
Dhananjaya P Shettigar said that unlike human, an organisation gets aged means organisation is strengthening year by year, so as MCC Bank has grown strength by strength over the year. Bank has served the customer without any discrimination.
Sheikh Noorulla said that, he is a happy customer of the bank more due to the kind of service bank renders and the cooperation and coordination of the staff.
On this occasion the customers who have their birthdays in the month of September were honoured. The Senior Citizen customers were congratulated and honoured with shawl and flower bouquet.
As a part of customer meet, open session was held to give suggestions, opinion and tell their grievance. Customers actively took part in this interactive session and gave their valuable suggestions.
Chairman Anil Lobo, in his Presidential speech, clarified the reasons for conducting the Customer Meet in all the branches on the occasion of the post Centenary Decennial celebration of the bank. The main intention of the customer meet was to know the problems of the customers and raise their issues. He explained that the bank has earned a Net profit of Rs. 8.27 Crore with a Net NPA of 1.60%. He said that the staff are given proper training in the premises of the bank to give better service to the customers. He also requested the customer to avail loan facilities which are offered at competitive rate of interest, specially education loan. He congratulated the Branch Managers and staff members for taking initiative and organising this customer meet.
Vice Chairman Jerald Jude DSilva, Directors Andrew Dsouza, J. P. Rodrigues, David Dsouza, Harold Monteiro, Irene Rebello, Professional Directors Sushanth Saldanha, Member of Board of Management, Alwyn P Monteiro, Felix DCruz General Manager Sunil Menezes, were also present.
General Manager Sunil Menezes explained the importance of the Customer meet. Branch Support Director Dr Freeda F Dsouza welcomed the gathering. Kinnigoli Branch Manager Anil R Dsouza proposed vote of thanks. Manoj Fernandes, compered the programme.
Employees of MCC Bank Kinnigoli branch, Pramod Cutinho, Jeena Mathias, Shainy Lasrado and Rancy Dsouza were actively associated in holding the meet. More than 300 customers of the branch were actively participated in the customer meet.
