Mangaluru: In an effort to curb the spread of Covid-19, Mangaluru City Corporation has strictly prohibited animal sacrifices during the observation of Bakrid and related festivities on July 21.
According to the order the animal sacrifice is strictly prohibited in the following public places like Road and Footpaths,Indoor and outdoor premises of all the hospitals and nursing homes, Indoor and outdoor premises of all functioning schools and colleges, Play grounds, Masjids and other religious vicinities, Areas surrounding parks or any other public spaces.
MCC has requested for Public cooperation. Strict action to be initiated against those found in violation of the stated order issued by MCC Commissioner.
