Ullal: In a horrific incident at Bastipadpi in Ullal police station limits, miscreants poured petrol through the ventilator of a house and set the bedroom on fire injuring one of the inmates.
Taranath Yadav (58) suffered burns on both his hands. However, he was alert enough to save his family members including wife Vidya (45) and son Mithun (10).
According to sources, the reason behind the attack is said to be related to an incident where he had raised voice against a few ganja consumers in the area.
