Mangaluru: MLA U. T. Khader expressed confidence that Congress candidate will be the Mayor in Kalaburagi.
Speaking to media persons here on Sunday September 12, he said that JD (S) sticking to ethics should back Congress as a goodwill gesture for the help Congress has lent to JD (S). Despite Congress having 80 MLAs, we had given JD (S) candidate a chance to become CM with them having merely 30 MLAs, he recalled.
Further, he alleged that the government Suraksha kits provided as part of Covid relief to the workers is inadequate and useless. One kit is said to be of Rs. 1000 but it does not seem so and hence, there is a need to conduct inquiry in this regard, Khader added.
