M’luru Division: Applns invited for various posts in Postal Dept

Mangaluru: The applications have been invited from eligible candidates for the selection and engagement to the posts of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. Last date for submission of applications through online process is June 5. The applications are to be submitted online at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be considered. The entire process is expected to be completed by November 2022.

For the first time, the GDS Online Engagement is going for All India Launch with huge number of vacancies. Total number of vacancy notified throughout India is 38926. Out of which 2410 pertain to Karnataka.

75 vacant posts in Mangaluru Division

There are 75 vacant posts in Mangaluru Division which will be filled by online engagement process.

Gramin Dak Sevaks are holder of a Civil Posts but they are outside of regular Civil Services of union of India. GDS are governed by GDS (Conduct and Engagement) Rules, 2020 issued vide OM No 17-30/2019-GDS dated 14.02.2020 and amended from time to time, is available on www.indiapost.gov.in (under Employee Corner Circulars, Rules and Latest Orders, GDS).

Payment of fees

Male candidates belonging to the category UR/OBC/EWS have to pay a fee of Rs. 100/- for all the posts notified in choice of Division. Payment of fee is exempted for all female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PwD candidates and transwomen candidates.

Further, any additional information may be got from the following websites https://indiapost.gov.in as well as https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

The candidates need to upload the required documents while applying online. Hence it is advised to keep the scanned copy of all required documents in softcopy form before going for online registration.
