MP Nalin inaugurates ‘Neevu Prerakaru, Nanu Sevaka’ campaign

Mangaluru: In order to mark the first anniversary of Narendra Modi led NDA government in the centre, a campaign ‘Neevu Prerakaru, Nanu Sevaka’ was inaugurated at Pandeshwar on Sunday, June 7.

MP and BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated the campaign. The campaign intends to reach out to every family with a flyer giving the details of the achievements of the second term of Modi government.

After inaugurating the campaign, Nalin said, “Despite the whole country is been badly hit by the coronavirus, Modi led union government has done a tremendous job, not only by controlling the disease but also uplifting the economy. The campaign ‘Neevu Prerakaru, Nanu Sevaka’ was launched so as to create awareness about the achievement of the central government in the last one year. As maintaining social distance is a must in order to stop spreading Covid-19, only two persons will visit each house, during this campaign.”

Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath who was also present during the inauguration informed that “The people of our country are backing the decisions taken by the Modi government. Most of the promises which are given prior to the election were fulfilled including abrogating Article 370 and decades-long Ram Mandir issue. Due to this, the public has trust upon the BJP government. Now, the government has announced Rs 20 lakh crore economic package for the lockdown victims also. These welfare programmes` of BJP government will be shared during this campaign”, he added.

Mayor Divakar Pandeshwar, BJP leaders Vijay Kumar Shetty, J Surendra, Bhaskarchandra Shetty, Ramesh Kandettu, Kiran Rai and others were present.
