Mangaluru: Mangalore University (MU) announced the results of major papers from the odd-semester examinations held in April on its official website, mangaloreuniversity.ac.in on Tuesday November 23. However, the students were in a dilemma since the university’s website for checking results had been down for several hours.

Prof. P. L. Dharma, Registrar (Evaluation), Mangalore University said, “It’s not a problem of the results but with the website. When the results are announced, approximately 80,000 students check their results on the website in a minute. That is why the website was down. The issue is getting resolved and today, few students have reported that they received their results from the website. There is also a provision given to the college, where through the examination software, the college can download the results of all students. They can publish the same in their notice board and if the students are unable to check their results in website, they can visit the college for the same.”

The odd-semester UG examinations (1st, 3rd, and 5th semester) began in April and ended in the first week of September.
