Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K. V. has informed that the night curfew rules will be applicable to Kambala and Yakshagana events as well.

In the wake of new Covid – 19 concerns and the growing threat of the new Omicron coronavirus variant, the State Government announced on Sunday December 26 that night curfew will be imposed for ten days beginning December 28 from 10.00 pm to 5.00 am.

Dr. Rajendra K. V., speaking on the order’s implementation, stressed that all events must end by 10.00 pm and that no exemptions will be made for any reason.

He also said that a meeting with programme organisers will be held to ensure that the Covid – 19 guidelines are strictly followed.
