Mangaluru: The New Mangalore Port Trust welcomed the sixth vessel of the season, “Marella Discovery” at 7 AM on Wednesday, November 27.
The cruise arrived at NMPT from the Mormugao Port of Goa.
Around 1,436 passengers and 716 crew members were greeted in a traditional fashion with a folk dance of the coastal city.
According to NMPT sources, 690 passengers visited various tourist destinations in and around the port city.
The cruise departed for Cochin at around 1 PM later in the day.
Earlier, cruise vessels ‘Costa Victoria’, ‘Aida Vita’ and three other tourist-laden ships arrived in the city.
