Mangaluru: Amid Hijab row, another controversy has emerged from the Government School of Kadaba in the District on Friday February 11.
An incident has been reported connected to 5 – 7 students, who offered namaz in the classroom. It is said that this was a practice since last three weeks. The video of the students have now gone viral.
The locals after viewing the video have expressed concern, and opposition for allowing the namaz in the classroom.
Meanwhile the school authorities have stated that they were unaware of this, and will not allow such things inside the classroom.
As per the information the parents of these students had approached the school authorities to seek permission for their wards to visit Masjid on Friday to offer Namaz. The same was permitted with the condition that the parents’ accompany their children to Masjid and later drop them at school.
The officials of Education Department have visited the to school to gather information.
