Mangaluru: With untoward incidents being reported from Konaje and Ullal police station limits, the Mangaluru City Police have extended prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC till November 23.
Konaje and Ullal are considered communally sensitive pockets and over the last one week several instances of stabbing, assaults and damage to religious centre have been reported.
It may be recalled that earlier this month, the prohibitory orders were imposed keeping confusions around Tipu Jayanthi. It was later extended as there were four assaults on youth belonging to different communities here.
